Our Monthly Gatherings

We try to have two meetings a month: one for over-18s and one for young adults. Join us at the picturesque Holyhead Breakwater Country Park, located in Holyhead, Ynys Mon, LL65 1YG, UK. Nestled amidst natural beauty, this location provides the perfect backdrop for our astronomical observations and discussions. Easily accessible via the A55 motorway, our gatherings offer a unique opportunity to learn and share knowledge about the cosmos in a serene setting.

Finding Your Way to Our Meetings

To reach Holyhead Breakwater Country Park from the A55 motorway, enter Holyhead using the left-hand lane towards the town centre. Carry straight on past a pedestrian crossing next to the Cenotaph war memorial, ignoring a turning left to the town centre. Travel the length of Victoria Road with the old station and port walls to your right until a sharp left bend takes you along the scenic route past Newry Beach. Continue along this road until you reach the park entrance, maked with a large stone sign. Follow that road until you reach the Breakwater Country Park. Parking is available on-site, and the meeting area is next to the car park.
